Sunny the Gnome - Zucchini

Cucurbita pepo, more commonly known as zucchini, is a vegetable that grows on a sprawling vine that can reach up to 3 metres in length. The tripods are used as a trellis for the zucchini vine to grow on when it is big enough to reach and wrap around. Using a trellis exposes the plant to more sunlight and keeps it off the ground, which results in a healthier plant, producing more zucchini. Testing has shown the zucchini plants draw zinc, molybdenum and boron from the soil.
